Agro-Yug-Service Ltd has been certified to the FSSC 22000 standard since 2018. But what is this certificate and what does it entail?
FSSC 22000 is an international certification scheme for food safety management systems, the requirements of which are based on the international standard ISO 22000:2005, the principles of HACCP and the requirements for prerequisite programmes, as set out in detail in the technical specification ISO/TS 22002-1:2009.
FSSC 22000 is one of the most comprehensive approaches to food safety management system certification for those involved in industrial production. As the scheme is based on the ISO 22000 standard, it can be easily integrated into other quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, and enables food organisations to improve the quality of their food products whilst ensuring their safety.
FSSC 22000 enables organisations to demonstrate at an international level that they have a comprehensive management system in place that meets the requirements of consumers and regulatory authorities regarding food safety.
Put simply, this certificate once again confirms the high quality not only of our products, but also of our entire management system.
