Easter is a celebration for everyone: ‘Amina’ has donated its own products to those in need

In the run-up to Easter, the Mykolaiv-based trading company ‘Amina’ joined the ‘Easter Basket’ charity campaign organised by the charitable organisation ‘Volunteer UA’. Biscuits and new vitamin-enriched flour were sent to those in need.

Agro-Yug-Service Ltd, which manufactures products under the ‘Amina’ brand, has donated biscuits produced in-house and new vitamin-enriched flour to volunteers for onward distribution to social care organisations.

‘Easter is inextricably linked to concepts such as charity, mutual aid and support. It is a joyful festival for all believers. In our town and across the region, there are certain groups of people who, due to various circumstances, cannot afford to celebrate the holidays with a festive meal and Easter cakes. It is for them that we have donated our products. So that everyone can share in the atmosphere and spirit of the Easter celebrations, despite their difficult financial circumstances, emphasised Natalya Kuznetsova, Deputy Director of Agro-Yug-Service Ltd.

The ‘Easter Basket’ campaign has been organised by ‘Volunteer UA’ for several years now. According to Mila Yurchenko, head of the volunteer organisation, the aim of the event is to provide voluntary assistance to vulnerable groups by giving them food, Easter cakes, sweets, treats or financial support.

All food parcels will be delivered to the Regional Geriatric Care Home, the St Nicholas Charity Home, the ‘Recovery’ Social Rehabilitation Centre for the Homeless, as well as directly to families in the city and region living below the poverty line.

Consequently, 237 residents from three care homes will receive financial assistance, 189 of whom have physical disabilities.
